all prior experiences have been great however this day it took forever to get waited on and then forever to get food and we ended up not eating and getting the food to go because we had a play to get to.

Service on the slow side, pricey considering the small portions. I ordered #47 beef pho and had to ask for additional noodle ($2 extra). Beef seems a little overcooked but lean. Bean sprouts and basil were not fresh looking, cilantro was fresh. Asked waiter if there’s better bean sprouts in the kitchen and he never brought any. My daughter ordered beef noodle salad and received something different. Spring roll has one shrimp and one piece of pork meat, loosely filled with noodle and lettuce with no herb. Got better service and food and value at other Vietnamese restaurants before, i.e. Pho Hoa on Primose and colonial, a few blocks away. My kids love the Vietnamese pancake at Pho Hoa (huge and crispy) and their pho was better. Would not come back to Anh Hong, will exchange my other certificate to other places.

Have been a regular for years. The special pho had low quality fatty meat .the roll your own rolls size has been substantially reduced and the quality of meat is not a fraction of what it has been Only 4 rice paper wrappers are furnished now and are now given in a plastic bag Additional wrappers are now an up charge and the prices have been increased twice in the past year My Vietnamese wife complained to the server for the first time iabout the poor quality and visually showed the residuals demonstrating no meat but Almost all fat. To no avail. The manager refused even to come to the table after we both asked the server and hostess. Greatest disappointment ever. After years of coming here, we have to stop recommending this restaurant.

I regularly eat Vietnamese food and I was very disappointed in the quality of the chicken and the lack of flavor in the shrimp and fried spring rolls. The Steam Round Cake appetizer was delicious and I would go back for that, but I would not repeat anything else that I had and I would not eat chicken there again.

The food was delicious as always, the service was by far the worst service I have ever had here. Our server dropped our appetizer off less than 2 minutes before our entrees. We were not even a quarter of the way through our entrees and he dropped off to go containers & our check and told us he needed to go to his other job. We told him we were still eating & that he could just send another server over so he could go. He then sat at a table near us and stared and gave us dirty looks to encourage us to finish. He came over 5 times to get the check despite the fact we were still eating and we told him we were not ready to pay. He finally stormed off in a huff and another server came over to take care of us.

They raised price, but didn't change on the website's menu, will not go back again.

It was very good. I love the food there. I must say however the fish sauce was too spicy. It has never been spicy before. They have added hot peppers to it. You may want to let customers know this up front. Maybe give them an option for spicy or not spicy.

The entire staff abandoned the restaurant as they retreated in the back to deliver a catering order. I left my seat and went to the back of the restaurant to let a waiter that I was ready to place my order or leave. The food was ok, but the soup was loaded with salt which is bad for anyone's health, so I couldn't finish it. Otherwise everything else went well.

Restaurant may appeal to some people but the interior looked old and unorganized to us. We started with spring rolls, which were okay but nothing special. I then had tofu which not good at all and my wife had shrimp with noodles and veggies. The shrimp looked terrible, possibly re-heated numerous times and my wife wisely chose not to eat any of them. Her noodles were okay but had very little flavor. There are enough really excellent Asian-influenced dining establishments in the Orlando area that we decided that a repeat visit to Anh Hong is definitely not in our future.

Park behind the restaurant and walking through the alley is the easiest way to get to it. The lady who seated me didn't even look at me so if you don't expect friendliness you will be fine. One girl on the wait staff was smiling so that made up for it. The menu on restaurant.com is way outdated as of 2/14. Pho was priced $5.50 but was actually $7.95. It was really tasty though!

The shrimp summer rolls were great. We shared the french sub delight, which was delicious with lots of fresh crunchy veggies on top. Also enjoyed the papaya salad and the shrimp with rice vermicelli meal (I believe it was number 82).

I ordered banh xeo, the golden pancake which is my favorite dish and it came out burnt with a butnt taste in all of the pancake. I kindly sent it back saying it must of been an accident. The second one camr out lyong in a puddle of grease with more burnt spots covering it like cheetah spots. The manager or chef came out and said thats the way its supposed to be... also in a condedcending tone in front of everyone in the dining room. The lady next to us had ordered the same thing and it looked as though they just gave her the one I rejected. I will never go back after being humilliated.
These are the BEST summer rolls ever!
The food and service were good. The only issue we had was on their menu they list chicken noodle soup under side dishes and have a small one for $3.95. I indicated that each of my daughters would have a small one. When I got the check I was charged for 5.95 each for a different chicken noodle soup and was told I had gotten this more expensive one. I pointed out the one I thought I had ordered on the menu which clearly says chicken noodle soup, small $3.95. If there is something else on the menu that is similar the server should have clarified this in advance. They did correct it but made me feel kind of bad about it, like it was my mistake and not a misunderstanding.

We had to ask after we were seated for a high chair for our son. The waitress never returned. We had to wait for another waitress to ask for one. Then it took a while to get one. Our refreshments were never refilled, or asked to be refilled.

this restaurant is usually busy--a good sign. one disappointment: towards the end of our meal, i ordered summer rolls to go...it came in a saran-wrapped styrofoam tray...when i tried to eat it later in the day, all the rolls smelled "off"...i believe they gave me some pre-packed summer rolls that were past their freshness...next time, i will order any food-to-go as part of the dine-in and just pack it up myself...and i recommend everyone else do the same

We had the cabbage/duck salad which was delicious as well as the deep fried fish - the best we have ever had. Also had the veggie/tofu bahn mi for the first time which was delicious.Our server, a young lady listed as "Na Na" on our receipt, was inattentive & slightly pushy at the same time. She waited on us last time too & it was so bad then that we spoke to the manager. We love dining at this restaurant and typically have great service, but this young lady is pretty bad.

The restaurant wan't busy at all yet we were seated at a large table with employees and family members at the other end. The servers were to busy talking to each other and with family and eating to provide service to anyone else. I've eaten at many of the restaurants in Orlando's China town area and have always been satisfied.

I have eaten here many times with delightful results. This visit was disappointing and I had brought guests that had never been there before. Service is always excellent, friendly and prompt, but on this night, within a few minutes of ordering our drinks, appetizers and meal, my main dish arrived. I asked the waiter to bring it back when the other guest’s meals were complete and he seemed surprised. We had not got the plates yet to share the appetizers and just had our drinks set on the table.

My husband and I love Anh Hong. We go all the time. Everyone is nice to us. We love the lady that is at the register, she is so nice. I do not know all the servers names, but they are always nice. We always get our food right away. Used to go to Little Siagon. Have not been back in 3 or 4 years, we go to Anh Hong.

Not a great looking place. On a busy corner with long tables and several small tables. No decor at all. Food is fantastic and fresh. Get the Golden Pancake. It is listed as an appetiser but is the size of a full meal.
Our server was excellent and gave very good recoommendations from the menu.

It's a good, casual, inexpensive Vietnamese restaurant. The only concern is that if the restrooms are any indication of the cleanliness of the kitchen, it's a frightening thought.
Always a fabulous meal and wonderful & friendly staff. We eat here twice a month and drive 45-min to get here since it is so enjoyable.

FOOD WAS GOOD, BUT EMPLOYEES A LITTLE CONFUSED WHEN TAKING AND SERVING ORDERS. TOOK FOREVER TO GET CORRECT BILL AT END OF DINNER.
They forgot to return my credit card. I had to call back to see if they had it. When I arrived to pick it up they did not apologize instead thought it was great that they had it in a safe place. They should have returned my card in the first place so i did not have to do 2 trips!
Always have a good meal at Anh Hong. Love trying new things and the staff is helpful in my ordering.

Whenever we are in Orlando we eat at Ahn Hong. We live in Jacksonville and have been customers of Ahn Hong since their inception because the food is excellent and the owner as well as her staff are very courteous and the service is outstanding.

Amazing variety of fresh greens that are rarely seen in other types of restaurants. Seafood was prepared just right.

Anh Hong has great food but lacks proper seating room for a crowd; sitting in the aisle as my guests did was not a good thing. Their portions could be a titch larger too; otherwise, thumbs up.
