Bantry Bay has some of the best food around. They really know what they are doing when it comes to the food. It's not your typical bar food.The service is always great and they treat you very well.

While I enjoyed my food, it was IMPOSSIBLE to carry on a conversation due to the loud & raucous pub atmosphere. Bartender was all alone at a crowded bar & bartender was also our sever. Food took a long time to come out from the kitchen (maybe the bartender was also the cook??) Seems more like a place to grab a qquick lunch rather than a relaxing meal.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It reminded us of the old time Manhattan neighborhood bars and grills that have almost disappeared. We really felt at home there. The waitstaff was efficient and gracious and helpful. Great!!! Best hamburger ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an Irish bar, not very luxurious. Very, very casual dining. One waiter for the bar and the restaurant so it takes forever to order and get the meal. Only plus is very big portions, you will go home stuffed.

Was decent for the price with the coupon from restaurant.com .Got the shrimp bisque though was a bit too spicy got a roast pork sandwich with gravy quite good kid got burger said it was very good wife liked turkey sandwich said it was good. service a little slow but not to the point of horrendous

I spent the Mother's Day Dinner with my daughter at Bantry Bay. The place was a wonderful choice. The chef's food was just what we wanted. The bartender knows his work and performs it well in an affable, professional manner. The clientele are friendly which made for a memorable day. We made good contacts and maybe good friends.
The waitress whi is usually the bartender was working as both the bartender and dining room waitress. She did an excellent job and is the main reason why we woukd return. She has been working there for over 20 years and is from Waterford, Ireland. Food, service and atmpshere were all gret! We'll be back1

Despite having a large private party in the dining room, our waitress was patient, courteous & efficient. Three different entrees & all were good. (Don't tell the restaurant , but the prices were on the very low side for the quality & portions served.)
A bar/restaurant off the beaten path that should not be overlooked. Great food and service. The Marsala Tidbits are amazing.
