Reviews
Prompt attention from service standpoint. The food was much more spicy that I expected - even after being forewarned it was a spicy Enchilada.
Friendly staff. Personal attention to discribing the unique characteristics of muscal used in our cocktail. Family friendly and nice variety. The restaurant has new owners and changed names but they continued to honored our old coupon. New name MESCAL
Great food & service
Great food, friendly people
Service was a bit slow.
family friendly/good menu items not found at most store front rest.
the staff and our waitress were the best.i really enjoyed her service.
Usually most enjoyable. Good food. Asked for you dish to be made mild. So hot, I couldn't eat it. Two babies screaming in a very small restaurant does not make it enjoyable.
excellent...but it always is - never a disappointment
very good food for the money
Great food and service.
food is excellent and the service is good, people are friendly.
The food is delicious! The staff is attentive, very warm and friendly! They have the best margaritas!
I'm not a fan of noisy TVs.I found a sharp chicken bone in my taco
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great Sunday afternoon lunch.
Food and service was very good
Service was friendly and prompt.
I was driving around one day craving a burrito. By accident I ended up at El Alamo. When I walked in, the staff was very friendly and the place smelled like there is something good cooking in the kitchen. I ordered a Torta Cubana to go. Few minutes later I had my lunch ready to go. I will be honest with you, within the first bite of my sandwich my mouth started to water. I couldn’t believe how good the sandwich was. Chorizo was cooked perfectly, ham was nice and crispy reminding me of bacon, egg was cooked to perfection and the mayo topped it all off. I can truly say that, this was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I ever had. Believe it or not, I went back a week later and ordered the same thing. Again, no disappointment. I give this place so far 5 stars. I will be back to try more entries from their menu. I also overheard that the margaritas are excellent.
great food and service
Excellent needed a clean floor and hotter entres

The food tasted like it had been cooked in old grease.
Great food, but it gets a bit loud in the dining area.
Food is great! The noise level can be too high. Put up a few sound absorbing things on the ceiling or walls maybe.
best food ever..........the chef is a wizard
Service was ok, food average
Its just a great neighborhood restaurant.
Quick service and food was decent. Enchiladas weren't quite what I was expecting though, should have gone for the regular tacos that my friend had.
Because this is such a "hot spot" the place was really busy since it was a Saturday night in the summer, a few mistakes were made but overall a great time.
The service was good but the food was mediocre. I had enchiladas.
Chicken in tacos was ends - dark gristly, not grilled white as described by waitress. Steak burrito was OK except meat was small bits - relatively fat and chewy
Very dirty
The food was excellent. They seemed to be understaffed/short handed. All in all it was good experience. We will come back.
good food and service, just could have been warmer
Great Food, excellent service. It is a bit loud but for us it just added to the experience. Really great food!!
my husband is so picky & he loved the food & the place as well !
Service was very slow
The food was really great and tasted fresh. I like the fact that this venue has changed to more of a sit down restaurant instead of a taco joint. One recommendation tho: The price of your ceviche. It's about $4 bucks cheaper over at Grande Jakes; which is the same portion & quality. $11.00 for an appetizer is a little steep :(
The quality of the food was excellent as you would expect from this type of establishment. Service was professional AND friendly. The view was spectacular. Great happy hour on the floor above this restaurant.
The view and the place was amazing. The staff was very helpful. But for a waiter that get's big $ at that place I expected a little more from him. The guy who brought water and bread was way more outgoing and friendlier then our waiter. I disliked giving him that much tip for less than outstanding service at that high price restaurant. But since they know they will get it since it's polite they don't have to give spectacular service.
Food was typically Mexican, not spicy, but can be enhanced to your taste.
I had eaten here once before. It truly is the best restaurant experience based on ambience, service and food!
Service and food were great!
There was only one server working and it was a super busy Monday evening for them. We were in no hurry though so it worked out for us.
