Great food and wonderful waitress!!! Definitely coming back!!!
I would have said excellent, but there was only one person working in the restaurant, and she was the bartender. I was told weekdays are slow so no one else is needed. I would have liked an actual waitress or waiter to have been there too.
Great food. Good prices. Nice atmosphere and friendly wait staff.
I usually have a decent meal here but yesterday we ordered swordfish which was okay with roasted potatoes which were so crunchy burnt and tasteless that I had to ask the waitress if they we leftovers from a function earlier. I didn't get much of a response. Oh well hopefully at least they didn't get served to other patrons
It was an odd experience. There was no real wait staff - only a young woman who served our drinks and meals. Food was ok, certainly not what was expected for the prices.
granted it was a Tuesday night in spring but we were the only diners. Our server was also the bartender and was very friendly and courteous. Food was plentiful but nothing special to encourage us to go back
The chef is an amazing cook. He is very pleasant and our dinner was served very timely. Our server as well was wonderful and attentive as well as accommodating. All staff were very pleasant and inviting. Definitely a family atmosphere and amazing scenery.
We received excellent service from Darla the Manager. Along with all of her duties she made sure that my wife and I received the best of service along with the best food. The food was excellent but the service was unforgettable and a wonderful experience thanks to Darla. Great place to dine and enjoy an evening out.
The food was ok and ambiance (lodge resort for skiers) was so-so and there was only one waitress covering the bar and restaurant but she was terrific and good natured trying to balance it all. High points for service!
Both the menu online and on restaurants.com are wrong.the menu is small and the meal were not even cooked right. My girlfriends so called shrimp scampi was watered down Marinara.
The restaurant only had 2 servers working the restaurant and the bar. The server was nice and the food was good. I do think that the price was too much for what we got.
The staff is very pleasant and aims to please.
There were no hot vegetarian entrees on the menu. The merlot was very good!
there was not a full menu--there was a Asian Buffet but not really good. The food on the buffet looked like it was there awhile and it was not hot. Appetizers were the best part--wings and calamari
The waitress, Evelyn, was outstanding
Our first impression was sad b/cuz the menu was so limited. But after choosing our meals were delighted. The entrees were superb and nice size portions. Our waitress was extremely kind and attentive. Evelyn was Great!!

good location; nice atmosphere for conversing
Excellent quality food. Great service.
The food and Coffee were cold, it was hard to get the waitress since they only had one waitress and the place was really busy.
It was quiet and the food was very good
French Onion soup tasted canned. Pierogies were Mrs Ts boxed. Quesadilla was soggy. "Pink lemonade" was lemonade mixed with fruit punch. Waitress actually told me. Yuck. Husband's green shrimp dish was delicious. She hovered and interrupted our conversations because we were the only ones in there, told us too much personal information about her health, boyfriend, cook, etc. It was WAY overpriced with very limited menu. For our experience, we begrudged paying the bill even after the $25 discount!
Portions are small for the prices they charge. They market themselves as a high end place, but it is a hotel restaurant with limited selections. It does have a great view.
Very slow service. Food quality not worth the price tag. Good smothered in grease.
Great service and food.
no ambiance, food was ok but overpriced
We really enjoyed our lunch and our server, Tracey, was excellent!
Hated the dinner the night before, but we had no where near us to go for breakfast so we gave them another try. Breakfast was no better. Cold Eggs, bland potatoes and rock hard toast. Very Disappointed.
Poor selection of food,,,and our meal was not even close to our expectations. The coconut shrimp was HORRIBLE!
Food was excellent. Service was great.
overpriced and not that great
scenic, good food and service
Really nothing positive to say, from an inexperienced server that got everything wrong to overpriced food. Menu prices listed on website were not the same as in the restaurant.
It was a very nice setting, romantic & quiet.
Very slow. Was done eating for 15 min. Before we got the check, waitress did not even refill water glasses.
food was horrible for the priceservice was horrible
Was there on the italien buffet night. Would rather been on a normal night where we could order what we wanted but on vacation

Had to wait an hour for our food. Had to refill my kin water. The food was overpriced and they were understaffed.
waitress was not that attentive to our needs.

Food was way too SALTY!!!!
It looks like the Chateau's Easter Brunch Buffet may become our annual get together with family. The food was delicious with a great variety and, Nicole, the waitress was very nice and attentive.

service was awful..food ..not great..ambiance..terrible..no music..just blah
Flatware wasn't available for dessert nor did server bring any.
Food was excellent. Restaurant was hard to find as it is a little off the beaten path.
We went to this restaurant in the evening, it was very dark and hard to find the establishment. There should a sign from the main road to lead you in to the hotel/restaurant. The food was good, but pricey.
The service was terrible! We sat at our table a good 15 minutes before shouting out for a waiter. After drink and meal orders taken at least an additional 15 minutes before our soup came out followed finally by our beverages...
Food Was good , Service wasn't The best.
Food Was good , Service wasn't The best.
Foodwas quite bland and was not notified of specials before ordering.
Airy, open and spacious with high ceilings and lovely views of the ski slopes!!!
We love the staff, the décor/ambiance, the food, the DJ - there was nothing we didn't like about the evening.
Stood around for a long time before anyone acknowledged us to seat us. Had to order off lunch menu although after 3pm. "Bruschetta" appetizer was horrible! Soggy and greasy. French onion soup was very good. My burger was blah, husband's French dip was fine. Service was slow and uncomfortable.
The female server didn't: offer specials or have the cost, never brought us bread or water, forgot my husbands salad, didn't bring plates on a shared appetizer. The food was great but we won't dine there again.
We had the Italian Buffet. Salad bar and pasta was good. Wish they had more meat choices. My kids enjoyed the pizza and chicken fingers. Dessert was lacking, the cheesecake was horrible. An ice cream bar would be nice. I thought they provided entertainment for the kids on Fri nights but it was a DJ that sang way off tune.
The food was excellent and Hector is the best waiter ever. He went above and beyond to make us feel special
REHEATED FOOD AND FROZRN DEEP FRIED APPS NOTHING FRESH EXCEPT MABE THE SALAD BUT MY HUSBAND STILL THINKS CAME FROM A BAG. BANQUET NEXT ROOM I THINK THEY GAVE US THE LEFT OVER VEGGIES AS SIDE CAUSE AT FIRST THEY SAID VEG OF THE DAY WAS CARROTS AND GAVE US COLD SQUASH WITHOUT NOTICE ;(
Person tending the bar was awesome
I have ate at this resturant before and Loved it. Food was great and service was excellent. This time the total oposite. Food was disapointing and the service was really bad. I was not offered Water, A menu so I thought I would only order the buffet which was over priced. I have 3 smalll children who ate a handful of pasta and I was charged 9.99 for each of their meals I am a light eater and got a salad and a plate of pasta for 19.99. Very expensive dinner out. Not sure I will do this again.
Very inexperienced waitress.
Nice staff and beautiful views.
We are always treated so kindly and personably by the staff. Our kids love the food and dancing with the DJ. We go once a month to their Friday night buffet and our whole family looks forward to it!
We love all the staff and how gracious they are with the young boys in our family. They make us feel very welcome and comfortable.
We had a few drinks at the bar so we just decided to eat there. Evelyn was our bartender and server.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The interactive Italian food buffet has an excellent selection - something for everyone, even kids. The DJ i fun and personable.
Good selection on pasta buffet. Well prepared and fresh foods. Good service.
We went on a very cold evening and the dining room with all the large windows could have used more heat. We had to dine with our coats on.The dining room was clean and neat but no ambience to make it cozy especially in such a large area. And the entrance to both the resort and the restaurant could be more inviting.
great view of ski slopes, sat by fireplace
The quality of the food was not what I expected.
Limited menu and the food was cold.
Waitress didn't know menu or specials, portions were small and warm at best, and the worst part was our $29 ribeye was spoiled and tasted horrible.
Steak ordered medium was done well. Fresh green beans were hardly cooked. We were one of four tables there that night. Each and every table had complaints.
had the Italian buffet - kind of expensive for mostly pasta. Mashed potatoes were cold - no brown gravy for them either. Salad was good - chicken fingers were dry and very thin
Kristina, our server, is the best!
We have been to the restaurant in the winter and have always had a great experience. We go to The Crossings in Tannersville and the restaurant is very close and we always enjoy it.
The food was ok, though our pasta was undercooked. The staff also seemed confused by our reservation, but were very accommodating once they realized we were there to eat.
We had a wonderful meal and received exceptional service. This dining experience was one of the highlights of our vacation!
The only complaint I have is that it was freezing in the dining room which not only made us cold but the food was cold as well. It was under 30 degrees outside, there was no reason to have the A.C. blasting inside.
Service was slow and when the food was served, it was cold.
We were celebrating a birthday and the staff was very kind in letting bring in our own cake and serving it at no additional charge.
there is a very limited menu which may or may not be what is listed on the website. the food wasn't bad but it wasn't all that good for the money. the best dish was the hummus appetizer. that was simply amazing and only 5 bucks
very good job!
