We had a casual meal, our hostess was gracious and friendly, the Caesar salad was delicious as was the rest of the meal. The sun was setting over the lake making for a very pleasant and beautiful evening.
Went on Tuesday, to avoid a crowd. Sunny day, sat outside and enjoyed the lakeview.

Waited an hour for table on patio and was given a little tiny table with no umbrella- we were going to leave but the waitress was very very nice and asked one of her tables to close out and move to the bar- because many people were done with their meals and hording tables.

Nick's Lake House is the fun place to be when your in the Poconos. Great food, live entertainment and they really make you feel at home.

my cheeseburger came to $15.49 because there was an up-charge of $1.50 for the fries. The fries were such a small portion that I was astound but when I tasted how salty they were I didn't want more anyway.
Not allowed to use more then one $10 gift card of a $50 card. Expensive fir the size if the food. Expensive kids meals.

Nicks has THE best wings (we love the bbq), abs the Caprese salad was perfection too. My daughter loves the mini slider burgers & the atmosphere is fantastic. We are locals, but it always feels like a special vacation retreat to go to Nick's:). We dined during a storm yesterday and the porch area was fantastic to watch the rain & see the lake but not get soaked!
They were very rude and I felt disrespected as being a black woman and mother of two young boys.The way they treat people and have my family and other people witness me having to wait to be served and my food had to sit I am so hurt and will be calling the news station once i get settled. Black Lives Matter
The only thing Nick's Lake House has going is that has a deck located on Harmony Lake. The view of the lake is beautiful, but the food is not good. WE have eaten there once a year for 4 or 5 years now and we never been happy with the food. maybe next time we'll just have a drink or 2 while we enjoy the view.
I think they were short on staff because it took about 20 minutes to get our meal. I've been here before and never felt that way. Beautiful view - its right on the Lake and we sat outside since weather was nice.
Food and service was very good and I loved the musical entertainment.
The calamari were outstanding! The brisket sandwich was superlative, and my hamburger reminded me of childhood.

The server was very attentive but the food often takes long to arrive when we eat here. We enjoyed the live music.We were charged $5.00 to park at Nick's because of fireworks that night, even though we had a dinner reservation. Split Rock Lodge also charged $10.00 to drive through the access road which we did not discover until we drove up to the tooth booth. The toll is usually $1.00.
Our server, Leigh An was the best! She was very attentive to our needs, didn't rush us and was very friendly.
Our server Jacqueline did not know how to be pleasant and smile. She never made eye contact and gave us the impression she would rather be somewhere else. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and have never encountered such a rude server.
Nice dining areas, inside and out. Had a chicken wrap and fries. Waitress was very good. Had music on the patio. We will stop again next month.

The menu was limited, however what we chose was very good.
We were pleasantly surprised. Hubby and I shared the chicken wings for our appetizer, they were large as stated on the menu, cooked nice and had a great taste. We both had hamburgers cooked as ordered. And, our server Kris (GG) knew her job well, was very pleasant and accommodating. The view of the lake was lovely. The only negative that I can say about Nick's is the music from the wall speaker.

After traveling all day, had an enjoyable meal there. Fantastic view from the end of Lake Harmony. Trees were so beautiful surrounding the lake.

started fine with drinks. after our order was taken, our waitress was unattentive.no more offers any more drinks. it took 45 minutes for "first course" to arrive? we ordered soup, but 2 entrees came out. waited another 30 minutes. the other 2 entrees came out, 1 with soup. then 2 more soups came out!!!1 entree was burnt and couldn't be eaten, but not taken off the check even though we asked it to be. a side of mashed potatoes that was ordered , never was served. there were bread plates on the table, but no bread was offered. we left, taking 1 entree home, because everyone was finished eating at that point! to top things off, there were about 2 other parties of 4 dining, and 3 patrons at the bar!

Love this place. Never had a bad meal. The crab cakes are always outstanding. The staff is very efficient and friendly. We always make it a point to eat here as many times as we can squeeze in while we're here. Very casual & comfortable atmosphere.

I had the filet mignon. I was disappointed. One of my guests had the half rack of ribs which looked better. The other guest would. Have preferred the opportunity to order only one crab cake with the platter.
My husband & I have lived in the area for 4 years but have never tried Nick's. It was recommeded by a friend. It was the perfect night to sit on the patio overlooking the lake. Although not an extensive menu, it was sufficient and we had a very enjoyable evening!

our waitress was the reason. she abandoned us a number of times. pointed out that our silverware was in the condiment holder,(instead of getting it for us),And generally made us feel uncomfortable. when she delivered our bill she said she'd be right back. she never returned.(20 minutes). we paid at the bar and left.

Our waitress Andrea #2 was absolutely excellent. We will go back again before going back home because of her.
Allowed smoking on the deck. Should not allow smoking any place where people eat. Music was too loud. Could not carry on a conversation without shouting. Had to shout at the waiter for him just to hear me.

the food was good, but things have changed, I ordered stromboli it was a little light on the meat, and the other dinner the veggies weren't done enough,we sent them back and they nuked them and it ruined them. not the ordinary.
The Crab/corn chowder was salty, and nearly devoid of crab. The chicken scampi was on the bland side. Salmon a bit rubbery.
My 4 1/2 year old grandson was disappointed that they had run out of the mini burgers (on the Children's menu) and vanilla ice cream. Our waiter had no clue about dealing with children as my 18 month old granddaughter kept saying "hi" to him & he ignored her.

As usual, the staff is far too casual- always busy smoking on the deck in plain view of all the patrons. This is the first time that they were out of only ONE item we ordered. I overheard others and they were not so lucky- maybe 3-4 items they ordered Nick's was out of.

Service was terrible. Food was good, server was pleasant but the food took too long (1 hour) and although the order was right, there were things forgotten. I felt a little sorry for the waitress. She was so nice but the kitchen was sooooo slow and the restaurant was not particularly crowded.

We were very pleased with our server "Barbara". Barbara provided a wealth of knowledge about the restaurant and locale; she was very pleasant, welcoming, and lovely to converse with. The bartender/hostess was also pleasant and the restaurant was very clean.

We were a party of 5, but was joined by 3 others --- so the total party was 8.... we enjoyed our food, basic hamburgers, pizza and one chicken special. the other 3 did not enjoy their food. one was chicken fajitas - sent that back (got it taken off bill - so no worries)
Would love to have been seated closer to the windows overlooking the water....when we asked....we were told they were taken although many were seated by the windows after we had asked. When we inquired as to whether it was a private party...we were told no. Steak was good but blackened....we were not aware that it would be served that way. The tuna flavor was bland but cooked to requested level of doneness.

Had to wait one hour for our food. Soup was on the menu, but they didn't make it that day. They were out of one type of hambuger, and they were out of vanilla ice cream. We went for dinner. In fairness I must say they gave us free pie, because we had to wait an hour. We might have had to wait longer than an hour if I hadn't finially spoken up.

The large room in the back where we ate had a very nice view of the lake; however, it was a bit noisy due to several children in the room. The next time we eat here, we will request a table in the bar area which was much quieter.
Tracey the bartender was outstanding. She made us some great Tropictini's, and suggested a new appetizer for us to try.
