Panang Curry was dry with no gravy. There was no flavor of Panang. The curry Tofu noodles were just OK. The third dish - crispy curry chicken noodles was interesting.

Cup has detergent smile. Paitai noodle are so so, lot worse than other Tai restaurants
Good for a quick, reasonable meal in an expensive part of town.
I always order the same thing and being vegetarian it is nice to get a good basic stir fry of vegetables and tofu that actually has a variety of vegetables and they are not over cooked
Small room, and they were hammering in the back for an extended time while I was there and other customers.
As always the service was top notch and the food was over the top.
It's not bad, but not great.
clean, quiet and polite servers
Explained how the certificates worked and was helpful in completing the transaction without a hitch.
This was my first and last time at this restaurant first off the food portions are so small that it wouldn't satisfy the palate of a 2 year old they'd still be famished after meal completion. Also I ordered the pad tai beef the meat was so tough it almost cause teeth damage/breakage I must say this was the worse Tai restaurant I've ever patronized I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy as a matter of fact I'd like a refund if possible.
Service was very good. Our Pad Thai was served with unwrapped, reusable chopsticks, so we opted to use our forks. That was the only negative.
Excellent food and friendly, efficient service
good menu selection, pleasant staff
Good food at excellent price. The BYOB makes it even more economical.
Top Asian food restaurant!
Great attentive service for sure, and food is very good.
The staff is always friendly and courteous! The food is always consistently good. I tried a new chicken noodle dish and it was delicious.
awesome food with a great price
Food and service were fantastic!
We have never had a bad meal here. This is the best Asain restaurant in all of Chicago.
The food was bland, at best. I'm not from the Midwest but I'm assuming that most Thai restaurants use spices? The chicken was fatty and the spring rolls were unlike any I'd ever seen before. I left most of my food uneaten and after we left a generous tip I realized we were already charged the top.
Always great food and a nice quiet atmosphere
Food very good. Appetizer portions on the small side.
This place rocks!
Very very slow service and language barrier. Tried to ask about valet parking (sign outside) but she could not understand what I was talking about.
Food not very warm, the server mixed up our bill
Great service.Food could be hotter.
good food. good service.
Piping hot food with quick attentive service. Great find!
grest locstion
We love this place!! We also love that they use this site.
Service was good but I'm just not a fan of the food. Nothing was specifically wrong but no one in our party was really happy with their meal.
We stop here every time that we visit Chicago. We found this gem through this website and we are so happy
We had a hard time communicating with our waitress. We ended up getting an appetizer we did not order but were considering ordering. I think she just did not understand that were were considering ordering it. But she seemed in a hurry and wanted to just get our order and leave. Which I do not understand because there were only three tables with customers and two waitresses. Since we had been considering ordering the appetizer we keept it anyway.
the food was tasty and fresh.
Decor and service was just average. The food was pretty good though.
We ordered a main dish which was described as eggplant with shrimp and stringbeans and it came out as a spicy soup with eggplant, shrimp, etc. We told the waitress that we didn't want soup and the menu didn't state that this entree was soup. She acted like she didn't speak English and wouldn't do anything about it. What made matters worse was the dish was inedible because the soup was so spicy our mouths were burning after one sip. Please note the menu did not say anything about this dish being spicy. Also, the waitress added the numbers incorrectly on our check and the bill was a few dollars too high. When we pointed this out she took the check back and brought another one with the correct numbers, but acted like she hadn't made a mistake ( ie, she was trying to slip this by us ). Frankly, we believe this was done on purpose. We also think that this waitress may be the owner of the restaurant, but we're not certain.
The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious!
All was ok. Nothing special - nothing bad
We ordered six dishes and all of them consisted of chicken or beef. The meat was very dry and tough.
Food was good and staff was friendly Service was a bit slow as it took them time to come over and take orders. Also food was warm instead if hot Overall a nice place with reasonable prices Would Definetly eat there again
Fantastic food! Not only did it taste great, the price was very reasonable for all the food you get.
Good food at reasonable pricing with good service.
Ordered the chicken satay and it was overcooked. I would suggest to watch the cook time when preparing this dish. With that being the exception, the food and experience was good.
The restaurant smelled of fish, we were in a hurry so we stayed and had dinner. The people were very nice but the ambience just turned me off it felt dirty. I like thai but will probsly ot go back- so sorry!
The food pretty good and inexpensive and the service is also good
a party of three men were very load causing some discomfort.
poor food quality , not flavorfable.
there is no service at all
I love this restaurant! Fantastic food, great service, great location. We'll be back!
Soup was good. The rest was bland, including the service.
very good food. fresh ingredients!
This place is great. Excellent value 2 blocks from Michigan Ave and great food.
reasonable prices. Good portions. Locals seemed to come in for take-out.
We had been before and the food was good, but this time everything was bland and unexciting. We were disappointed, and with enough good restaurants in Chicago, we don't need to return.
The menu was a little bit limited. I would return due to participation in Restaurants.com
Food was on par with most Thai restaurants I have been to. Nothing really special. Service was ok ... but they were rather busy and only two servers working.
Quantity and quality of food so much less than any other thai place I've ever visited.
the food was great - the service was only standard. We would definitely eat there again.
We were going to downtown and wanted to eat at an Asian place. We found Silver Spoon through Restaurant.com and decided to go there. Food was excellent with fast service. Will definitely go there again.
The worst thai in chicago, have tried several, and this restaurants food was by far the worst, service was terrible they had two tables when we first got there and were still mixing the two up. We they got a little busier later, it became a nightmare. Both me and my wife have waited tables and its was the must laughable restaurant experience ever.
Pleasantly surprised at how very good the food is. The wait staff was very friendly but they were understaffed and it effected the service. We only tried it because of restaurant.com, but we will DEFINITELY have their food again and again---probably delivery!
Great neighborhood restaurant
Excellent food and excellent prices
The Sai Oour is incredible!
The quality of the food and it's preparation was poor
Excellent pasta.
Awful experience.
Great experience
We love silver spoon! Great service, food, and price. It's out favorite place to eat on the weekend! :)
Serving wine would enhance the experience.
I like this restaurant, but the service was below average this time due to being short staffed on a busy night (one server total). Server was apologetic, but completely disoriented. I'll still go back though.
Very small restaurant, food was fresh and very well prepared.
IT took a long time to get served and the waitress was not helpful or friendly. The dessert tasted like it had been in freezer too long.
We were completely satisfied and will definitely return.
location was great, but the food was disappointing. Not spicy and borderline OK. Probably one of the worst thai food i have had so far. BTW, i love thai food and can eat it everyday.
Was disappointed at the fact the same chicken was used for all dishes - as in it didn't seem as if the dish was cooked with the meat in it rather the same boiled chicken was added to each dish.
Always great!
I wanted a restaurant close to the Seneca hotel- when my daughter saw I had the Silver Spoon, she was excited because she had been there b/f and liked it
Best Thai food in town!
