Not only was the food good, but the atmosphere was fun!
The service was a bit slow at first, but turned out to be just fine. Friendly, attentive, even made up for the mistake on my wife's order.

Our service and most of the food was above par. I tried something new this time which was eggs Benedict and unfortunately the rest of being included too much mustard in the sauce and was a bit overwhelming. I think I’ll stick to the chorizo in my future visits
My husband loved the Eggs Benedict - top notch - I hated the bacon and egg sandwich. Worst I've ever had. Dry and burnt toast, over cooked bacon and altogether DRY and tasteless. Third party loved her meal.

it was good. always clean. music was too loud today. quality of the food has changed. the eggs which are normally really good were tasteless. I think they have switched to mass produced eggs. it may be the last time I eat there.

When Affie was there I felt like there was better quality control. I received hard biscuits with my biscuits and gravy. Chips for hash browns, and when I asked for her to take my bacon back to make it crispy, it was forgotten. We needed to ask for the bacon after 15 minutes of waiting and then it was burnt to a crisp.

We had breakfast and it was the best omelet I've had in a long time. Dan & Diane took the restaurant back over and they must have gotten new cooks as this was an excellent breakfast. I did ask for dry toast and they gave me buttered toast and I really wish they would get Grapefruit juice on the menu.

We were greeted by the owners and made to feel welcomed. The food was served shortly after ordering. Everything was to the liking of both myself and my friend.
Very accommodating with reservation. Food was great! Only complaint is we were overcharged for an extra order of bacon that nobody ordered and waitress did not ask if we wanted separate tickets. Therefore putting some of our guests in an awkward position when not carrying cash. Before finalizing a bill the Waitress should ask if it is all on one check or seperated.
My 3-year old knocked over his water and the staff was very helpful in getting it cleaned up right away.
Omelets over cooked, absolutely no seasoning on the potatoes & we had to send things back to chef not just this visit but the last one too.

Spacious table arrangements meant we were not feeling crowed in and could actually have a conversation without the table next door hearing everything.

The restaurant was very clean. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, cooked to order, served quickly and hot.
Service was fast and friendly. Take out order. I ordered pancakes and a Ruben sandwich. The pancakes were great. The sandwich was not. It came with coleslaw that looked a few days old. I threw it out without trying it. The sandwich was dry and not at all tasteful. Will stick with pancakes there.

The weekend cook is not as good as the cook that is there on the week days, and the waitress fear him even though He couldn't get the order Right.Corned beef in the Ruben was Sub par and Tough.
We asked for French toast instead of pancakes with our meal. We were not informed of the $1 upcharge and then they forgot the French toast and when we finally got them they were soggy as if they were rushed. Waitress never came to check how our meal was to tell about the soggy toast. We love this place so it is a shame it was less than ideal.

Have always had decent food here before but very disappointed this time. Tater tots only thing out of 2 meals that was good. Took home meal & had to throw most out mashed potatoes terrible and gravy & meat tasted like pours salt shaker in it

We are semi-regular customers and this was by far the least pleasant experience that we have had. Service was very slow.Two of our entrees came to the table cold.We still love the Happy Rooster and plan on returning. You are allowed a pass once in a while.

This is the first time I went there and the last even though I do have 2 more $10 coupons but our food literally took 40 minutes to come, apparently their was one cook only and it was a holiday! Very dissatisfied.
Food was not cooked properly; had to send back the burnt toast and under cooked eggs. However the server was very nice and helpful.

Food Is Great As Usual. Service Has Been Steadily declining. We Waited Close To 15 Minutes For Coffee, Then The Waitress Tried To Take Our Order But Never Brought Us Any Menus. We've Noticed Service Declining Over The Past Several Weeks. Slow Service Can be Expected During Busy Times But That hasn't Been The Case. The cafe Has Been Half Full At Most Times With Typically At Least 3 Servers And Yet Service still Suffers. If It Continues To Decline we'll Be Going Elsewhere.
