The Pelican House no longer honors the voucher from Restaurant.com, but was kind enough to take mine. Their service was excellent as was their food. I would definitely go again.
Quiet atmosphere for a very good meal and then good conversation with the owner afterwards.
We ordered the ribs. No one in the party liked the taste. There were only about 5 things on the menu. We were told of other things but didn’t have the price. When we went to redeem the restaurant.com certificate we were told drinks didn’t go toward it(on restaurant.com it only specifies no alcohol). It stated kid friend but they don’t have high chairs or a kid’s menu.
Louie was a great host and outstanding chef!
Good food and excellent service. Best fried shrimp around.
I ate every morsel on my plate! I throughly enjoyed the dish I ordered. I'm from Louisiana and I know authentic New Orleans cuisine when I taste it. It was like eating "Grandmere's" home cooking all over again, but better. The owner/staff are so hospitable and gracious. I can't wait to return and sample more dishes on the menu.
The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, and the personal attention to detail was outstanding. Loved it!
It was a weekday. The place was completely empty save for the two people running it. The food was BLAND. It was no cajun fix. The seafood platter was more fries than seafood. The only highlight about the PoBoy was the mayo. It was a sad experience.
Excellent service!
We were there late on a Friday night. They close at 9 and we arrived at nearly 8:30. The location is does not tell the story of the upscale, modern interior you will find. We received personal service from one of the chefs, Luis.It was a very nice evening and meal.

We did not get the salads that came with the entrees. We are always treated differently when we make it known that we have the coupon before the meal is brought out. I will not make this mistake next time.
The food was authentic Cajun/Creole flavor, the portions were large, the service was wonderful. The manager Lou checked with us often to make sure we were happy with everything. My 22 year old grandson had a crawfish poor boy and I had the Seafood platter with shrimp, fish & mini crab cakes -both came with freshly cut chips-& mine with an excellent salad. We both began with a cup of rich creamy seafood bisque & shared some alligator "Lagniappes"-a little bit more. We then ended the excellent meal sharing some beignets that tasted as good as those from Cafe du Monde. We both really enjoyed the very well seasoned food and plan on returning soon
Good is great
The wait staff was courteous and quick. The food was really good.
The seafood gumbo was delicious. We also had the crawfish po'boy sandwich and the crawfish etouffee. The portions were large and the food was fresh.
The food was amazing. It took a little long, but the taste made up for the long wait.
The food was amazing. The server was very attentive and pleasant.
The price i paid for the food does not equal in quantity. I came when the resturant first open and decided to try again however i regret it. I was a total waste of my hard earned money. :(
Portion size is very small for the price. Everything was too salty. My son's kids meal was burnt. We ended up having to buy him dinner somewhere else. We had to ask to get our waters refilled. Beignets were good.
The food was ok and so was the service -however it was way overpriced.
