Everyone coming in after us and order got their food. I finally asked the counter lady where our food was. She said she accidentally gave it to some one else....was she going to tell me? Waited 25 minutes and only 2 tables taken in the restaurant...one was mine. Finally got the food and she said she give us a complimentary soup. So for the 3 of us we got a 1/2 of soup to share!! The chicken was bone dry....way over cooked? The 10 donut order came w only 9. When I told her she brought me the 10th! Way over cooked as well. HORRIBLE FOOD AND EXPERIENCE. Will NEVER return

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Charlotte NC,I've been going to this spot for several years.I've tried others this is there best.get over to the Wok on Providence Rd.
Took meal to go but the food was good and they were polite and courteous. Told me how long the wait would be and the order was completed on time
I witness the lady that work there walk over to a customers small child and tell him to be quit. I felt horrible for the mother the child had a form of Autism and the lady was completely out of line. I do not want to support a restaurant that is allowed to do this.

It's a small venue that is great for takeout, which I got.
This is a very small establishment where more carryouts are done. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I will return more often!0
Service was good, folks were very friendly and helpful. The food was just ok.....crab rangoon had no flavor and the spiciness of the meal was minimal for what I asked for. The food was just average. I was also expecting a sit down restaurant...it is more of a take out joint than a place to have meal.
The vegetable mixture was not heated enough. That's the only thing that kept me from rating this place a 5.

Good service and food. We had General T's chicken and chicken with broccoli with spring rolls for lunch. Portions were good and we took some home. Employee was very nice. Will visit again.

They got my order wrong... I ordered shrimp and got chicken instead.
Portions just a bit smaller than most chinese takeout, but very good. Server at the cash register nicer than at most other chinese takeout places!

The food at The Wok was very, very good. There is no atmosphere as this is mainly for take out. The person who took our order was on the phone, told us to wait and stayed on the phone the whole time she got our food ready. She was not friendly at all.
We ordered take out and they forgot to include some of our order and we had to return to get it. They did, however, give us something extra to help make up for the error.
The Szechuan Shredded Beef had almost NO beef...all celery.
The food was okay. One of the entrees were missing the rice.
For customers who dine in, silverware (as opposed to plastic utensils) should be available. It was virtually impossible to eat the wonton soup with the spoons we were given.

Fresh taste, served hot. Hibachi sauce a tad too sweet, scallops plump and plentiful. Shrimp bowl presentation unremarkable but tasty.
Food was bland. Clerk was not very informative or helpful. She did not know what gluten was. Plastic utensils were flimsy. You were out out of sweet tea.

Wonton Soup and chicken with broccoli were excellent. Chicken lettuce wraps were not good. Presentation was incomplete on chicken lettuce wraps; they were definitely missing something. Also, the restaurant was too warm. They need to crank up the HVAC. I wanted to mention that I think the priority for this restaurant is take-out. They seemed to be inconvenienced by diners who wanted to eat at the restaurant. I think we would have received our food faster if we had ordered by phone and picked it up instead of eating there.
quick service, great staff.
42 minutes for three carry out entrees and not that busy. Kitchen was putting food up but packager was very slow and inefficient. All without an apology. Needless to say, most of our food was cold when getting home less than ten minutes away.

It was great. I called to let them know I was on the way and by the time I got there my food was all ready. The food was delicious. I ordered it steamed and it was extremely healthy.

Take out. Interior is lacking, caused us to be skeptical but food was excellent. Not overly large portions, however.
The rice was very salty, too much soy sauce. The portions were small compared to other Chinese restaurants I have visited.I order my food not spicy. Ended up spicy and had to be redone.
