In 2012, Christine and her husband, Rodrigue, took their love of food and passion for cooking to the streets. They both had food industry experience before they met and as an added bonus to their relationship, realized they wanted to get back into it. After realizing that NYC didn't yet have a food truck designated towards Lebanese cuisine, Christine and Rodrigue decided to be the first, opening up Toum food truck.
