I think the portion of food provided for the To-Go order was extremely small for a very high price. For that reason, I feel I did not receive the value for the food.
I like the food. they can be creative on the buffet which is nice. The staff seem to really enjoy what They do. They have a few things they can work on, but overall positive.
Our server was so friendly and gave us greawt information on the menu. Encouraged us to come back to try the lunch buffet. We probably will!
Excellent South Indian food. Friendly service.best Ravi dosa and shambar.

Food as compared to other restaurants is not that good. We had vegetarian buffet and it was bit oily.
Great food (especially the Goat Curry) and great people!
I have been to Vindu many times for their lunch buffet and it was always good. So I thought to try TO GO pick up and I was disappointed by the wait time upon my arrival. Also, they were not pleased when I told them that there was no spoon/fork/napkin in my bag.
Have have stopped looking for the best Indian restaurant, we always come back to Vindu!!
The food was amazing. The buffet is great too. They may be literally just a few bucks more than some of the other Indian places out there, but the consistency and quality of the food will keep me coming back. Tonight was the first time getting to go. My girlfriend got the Panner Butter Masala. It had the perfect amount of spice and a generous amount of cheese. We ordered that one with the Tahli Dinner add-on and shared it. Which is so tasty and worth it as it compliments the dishes so every bite can be different. And my Chicken Tikka Masala was awesome as well. Tender chicken, seasoned exactly to my liking. It's worth a try for sure!
Good tasty food but a little too chilli-hot. Good if they would tone it down a little.
Maybe keep a set ofnapkins on the table
Excellent service
Everything was ok, but they raised the price..
It was not as good the last time we went
Good food and service
The food is always great at this restaurant. Genuine home cooked food taste.
Ordered 3 different dishes and all were full of favor, delicious.
Good menu selection. Can taste individual herbs and spices in the sauces. Best naan bread! They are not afraid to spice it up when you ask.
Great food and service
Food was dry today taste good just more gravy needed
Food is awesome and the staff is too! Ambiance is great for family night or a date night.
Invited us come again. Saying we have always have coupon now and then check. They happily took our coupon not whining like dough bro restaurant they were bad

Chicken Tikka was delicious. There was a baby eggplant dish I have not had before and it was very good. I always have a great meal here.
Great food and service. Will dine again soon.
I have eaten at several Indian restaurants in my day...but this one is the best. I have told many of my friends about it. I do not know if they have eaten there but if they did not they are missing an excellent meal!
Staff is courteous and informative of menu selection. Very helpful. Worth going back and back again.
Had to wait and finally ask for the check after being finished with our meal for 15-20 minutes
This is THE BEST Indian food in the DFW area! We have tried so many different restaurants, and Vindu has always been the best by far. Nice, relaxing atmosphere; delicious food; polite staff; great pricing. All around amazing!!
Very tasty with generous servings
consistently good food. you can taste the different herbs and spices in the different curries. The nan bread is the best anywhere!
Great food - choices from the buffet are not overwhelming and are very delicious.
There were several very different chicken dishes, goat curry as well as a variety of vegetables and other dishes. First time I had the egg curry - the sauce had great flavor. Staff was attentive but not intrusive. The food was very flavorful.
Good service, nice clean restaurant and simple yet elegant setting. We felt welcomed at the restaurant.
The food was delicious! I especiallyenjoyed the chicken Tikka masala, and the chicken and goat curries. The staff was extremely helpful and very courteous.
the food is always wonderful -- the naan light and airy and the tandoori chicken is always a sizzling delight
Nice staff. Nice clean restaurant. Good seating and lighting arrangement. Waiters were really nice and worked as a team. Thye were nice enough to tell us about free stuff [we had to just say yes to] that came with buffet and they served that hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Server was very knowledgeable about menu helpful with suggestions
1- Food did not appear to be fresh and was not warm. It may have been good when fresh. We arrived around 2 pm on Sat. afternoon.2- Waitress did NOT even ask us about Dosa or Uttapam that is included in the price. Half way thru our meal we have to chase her down and then order it. It took another 15 min. for it to arrive. We were nearly done with our meal. Very poor service!!3- Noone asked for additional water or anything else as if they did not even care.4- C. Card machine did not work I was forced to pay cash.
The food and service were excellent... large portions of authentic, delicious, Indian food!
I was not welcomed and seated. I went to choose my seat. There should have been someone to seat guest.
The food was good, but the service was poor. Our waiter did not come by and check on us and we had to flag him down several times for the check and a to-go box.
Great food and great service
Helpful waitstaff and great ambience.
Friendly staff
Good, but the food was a little chili-hot. Need to tone it down a little.
Acquired taste to appreciate food which is very good for Indian food.
The waitresses there was very sweet but she did not interrupt our conversation and I really appreciated that. This was a reunion of sorts and it was so nice to be treated so well even though the restaurant knew in advance that I had brought in a coupon. Food was THE BEST!!!
The food was excellent the was great !!!!!!!!!!
Very good service and food!
Bad customer service. Some customers left after 20 minutes waiting for their food. Food is not fresh at all, Taste is awful. Chicken was very dark and black. Servers do not speak English well and just offer no solutions for your concern.
Great spicy vindaloo the way it's supposed to be made! Thali dinner is excellent too as it gives you a variety of food to try.
1) Some food items have lots of salt which spoiled the dish 2) Dishes which are supposed to be hot are served at room temperature. 3) Items like Dosa are over baked
Good food. Service was ok.
Friendly staff
Food is not great, good for a quick lunch buffet.
Consistently the best Indian food in the metroplex. Their cooks know how to do food right.
The goat dish and the eggplant were both excellent and the breads very good too. We will be back soon!
The service can be improved.
The best Indian food in the Dallas area
meals here are always a treat! the naan is light and fluffy, the tandori chicken sizzling and succulent, the lamb dishes superb
dirty -- slow service
The food is always excellent! We always go to the lunch buffet. Food is hot and fresh. Staff is very nice.
My husband is British and has been here 8 years. During that time we've tried many Indian restaurants. All with their own version of Indian food. This was spot on and the service was excellent. We will be back. Customers for life!
Definitely above average indian food.Nice envirnment too.
The restaurant had a Lunch Buffet of widevariety and selection of non-veg. and veg.food. The food was good and the service wasgreat. We were treated well.
We go there whenever possible. The food is fantastic. We do always go for the buffet, since we can never pick just two items for dinner. The service is excellent. A great place to eat.
Lot of Indian restaurants in the area. This is one of the best we've run into
My husband and I have tried a wide sampling of their menu and have not been disappointed yet. The restaurant is positively stunning, and the waitstaff are friendly and very attentive.
The service is 100% awesome, reasonable prices and there is a lot of food to eat.
Average Indian food...papaddums were stale and smelt like the oil they were fried in was old
More food then expected had 2 doggie bags
Prices are bit costly compared to other Indian restaurants in DFW area
Taste was really bad, and it was prices are expensive.
We have many Indian business partners. When they come to town they want good Indian food sometimes. Vindu always pleases them.
Avg food, avg service, above avg price, and nothing great!
the dinner option is excellent. the bread, 3 soups, and desert along with the entree were more than I could eat. the food was really good and not spicy hot.
Food was pathetic. It looks to be a left over one.
Absolutely loved everything about this place. So glad we found out about about it & experienced it. Look forward to going again
A great dinner, run by very nice people. I will be back!
Service was little slow
Vindu has a good selection of delicacies and the service is very good, very attentive to the needs of the diners, very flexible with adjusting the sides and accompaniments!
Great food
The food quality is not good as as expected. The Fried Rice were too dry. Malai Kufta is not well prepared. Overall it is OK.
Good food, very reasonably priced.
LET THE OWNER KNOW. we were 8people. when they give chutneys or sauces with papad, they gave us only one of each brown and green when we asked for another set for across the table, the waiter said you can pass it to them, if it finishes then i will get more ...stingy stingy!!!!!they even do that with sambhar and idli chutneys.
The food taste was average but it was not hygienic at all, i found some concrete in Bread. The service was so slow. I won't visit there again.
great, authentic food...nice service, except the manager was too loud on his cell phone
The staff is very friendly and helpful about items on the menu. Excellent quality of food and nice but relaxing atmosphere.
We are sure to tell everyone we know about this place!
Great food. Very pleasant ambiance. Excellent customer service with personalized attention. 5 star restaurant!
everything was delicious & tastefully presented. portions were extremely generous. waiter was polite & attentive. it was delightful.
excellent service and great value for money. Food was good, though it had too much color added to it. Try reducing color in food, and the food will become excellent.
